Everyone would agree that student life is the brightest time of our life. There is a stereotype that high school, college and university students do not study only entertain themselves.But our students consider it totally wrong.
Because being a student they have to face many challenges and struggles.
Student life is not a piece of cake, they face different problems at different level at school level they faced psychological issues like stress of homework , strict discipline , competition and at high school level, Teenagers mostly suffer because of lack of proper guidance, they pay more attention towards love affairs, family issues and worthless problems, they waste their time instead of studying, however a hardworking student can easily overcome these issues.
Serious hurdles are those which they face like financial hurdles, poor transportation system, language barrier, Non-Cooperation of teacher, lack of sleep, imposed career and study programs.
Let me share with you some hurdles that our students face during their whole career of education.
As we all know that in Pakistan education is very expensive due to the shortage of public education institutions
.
The biggest sufferers are those students who belong to the middle class families and those who have limited resources. Their parents can’t afford their expenses, they are not able to pay the fees of private sector institutions , financial crisis is a common problem among students.
Now come to another serious issue, Traffic jam on road is an inevitable problem. In the morning majority of people are on the way to their school, college , university, offices or other workplaces so there is lot of traffic on roads.
Rain and VIP movements also create problems. Poor transportation is another important problem faced by student people travel jam-packed in buses like sacks the student often get spaces on the roof of buses or by hanging at the back of buses so often , they get injured in many accidents.
Students face language barriers when they get admission in universities they face the problem as most of them have studied in Urdu medium institution previously .
But in universities they have to study in English this causes lack of confidence among students, as there is also students of English medium in their classes who speak fluent English.
Another issue caused due to imposed study programs and imposed career on the students by their parents because of this particular reason many students do not perform well. This issue must be addressed on public level.
Fifthly, there is a lack of career counselling after matriculation and the students remain unaware about the proper selection of their future studies .
Involvement of students in politics and political parties poses harm to their studies and create a great deal of unrest.
Harmful films, novels, magazines pictures about crimes thrills, have disturbing effect on young minds as bad book and more poisonous than the venom of snake and scorpions.
Some steps are required on a part of our educationist , parents teacher and government to create awareness among students .
And help them to overcome their problems Student should be told there national aims and purposes . No political party should encourage students to take part in their party. Government should work against inequality and injustice more institution provide quality education should be established. Employment opportunities should be provided to the students after the completion of their studies.
Government must have to do proper planning to solve all these issues.
Because students are the backbone of society, they play a major role in economy and development of the society.
This can’t only be done by the government.Parents, family, society, and also the students have to play their part in solving these kinds of problems.
