The transformation of Palestine, the land of the prophets, into a Jewish state is the root cause of the crisis in the Middle East. These unholy Jewish intentions began in 1857 at the First Zionist Congress on the movement of Theodore Herzl. Al-Aqsa Mosque is the first qiblah of Muslims after the Kaaba and the Prophet’s Mosque. The Muslims here call it Al-Aqsa Mosque or Haram Qudsi Sharif (Arabic: الحرم القدسي الشریف). It is located east of Jerusalem, which is occupied by Israel. It is the largest mosque in the world with a capacity of 5,000 worshipers. Thousands of people can pray in the courtyard of the mosque. Non-Muslims have been barred from entering the country since the Al-Aqsa Intifada began in 2000. The name Al-Aqsa Mosque was applied to the entire Holy Haram, including all the buildings, the most important of which is the Dome of the Rock, which is one of the finest examples of Islamic architecture. Today, however, the name is applied to the large mosque on the south side of the shrine. The name of the golden dome on a historic rock near the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. Called the Dome of the Rock. This tall building has been considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world for the last thirteen centuries. And it is called a part of the Holy Haram. The people here (Christians and Jews) call it the Dome of the Rock. In Arabic, qabat means dome and rock means rock.Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) had reached Al-Aqsa Mosque from Masjid-e-Haram during the journey of Ascension and led the prayers of all the Prophets here.
In Surah Bani Isra’il of the Holy Qur’an, Allah mentions it in these words:
Glory be to the One who took His servant Korat in the night from Masjid al-Haram to Masjid al-Aqsa, around which We have blessed so that We may show him some examples of Our power. Surely, Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. Surah Al-Isra’il Verse No. 1) According to a hadith, traveling to only three mosques in the world, including Masjid al-Haram, Masjid al-Aqsa and Masjid al-Nabawi, is a blessing.
In the time of Hazrat Umar Farooq, when the Muslims conquered Jerusalem, Hazrat Umar, on his way out of the city, ordered the construction of a mosque near the place where the rock and shine were to be built, and here he and his companions prayed. This mosque was later called Al-Aqsa Mosque because at the beginning of Surah (Bani Isra’il) of the Holy Quran, this place is called Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It covers an area of 144,000 square meters. The Aqsa compound has fourteen gates. However, when Salahuddin Ayubi liberated the mosque, all four doors were closed for some reason, or the number of existing doors is ten.
Dennis Michael Rohan, an Australian Jew, set fire to the first qiblah in August 1969, which engulfed the Al-Aqsa Mosque for three hours and caused a large part of the qiblah to collapse on the southeast side. It was set on fire by Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi after the conquest of Jerusalem. Salahuddin Ayubi is said to have fought about 16 battles for the liberation of the first qiblah, and during the war he kept the pulpit with him so that he could install it in the mosque after the victory.
Because the Jews consider this mosque to be a place of worship built in place of the Temple of Solomon and want to demolish this place of worship and rebuild the Temple of Solomon when they have never been able to prove by argument that the Temple of Solomon was built here.
Turning the pages of the history of the Islamic world contains complete, solid and clear evidence of the historical status of Al-Aqsa Mosque and its foundation.
For the past 73 years, Israel has been carrying out sporadic attacks on Palestinians, killing thousands and forcing millions to flee their homes. This year, in the wake of the Palestinian conflict, the Zionist state of Israel launched atrocities and attacks on Palestinians on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr, the holiest night in the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. All the world’s organizations, including the United Nations, report terrorism in the Palestinian territories as an Israeli-Palestinian conflict, while more than 135 countries around the world, including the entire Muslim world, object.
The Middle East has once again turned red with the blood of Muslims as a result of recent Israeli terrorism. And these unscrupulous Israeli forces have resorted to genocide of Muslims by targeting Muslim Palestinian children to the point of barbarism. In addition, the city of Gaza has been devastated by the bombing.
In the same way, Israeli terrorism is a black mark on the civilized world and the United Nations’ peace efforts.
In order to fight Israeli oppression and defend the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Muslims must support the Palestinian people financially, physically, morally and politically.
